SPECIALISTS IN GLOBAL EVENT OVERLAY AND DESIGN

Arena Hong Kong Ltd was formally launched on 4th August 2016.  The formation of the company began in earnest as a collaboration between Ironmonger Marquees (a Division of Ironmonger Events) and Asia Tents Arena (part of the Arena Group).  Synergies were rapidly realised in a growing Hong Kong market and Arena Group recognised the potential acquisition that would extend its Asian capabilities with a new office and hub in Northern Asia.

Rob Derry, Arena Hong Kong Managing Director stated, “Arena Group has the expertise that has seen it deliver the finest events in the world, which gives us a huge knowledge and skill base to draw on, coupled with the finest structures inventory in the world, so our Hong Kong clients will see this vast expansion in equipment available.

Paul Berger, CEO of Arena Middle East and Asia said on completion of the acquisition, “we are delighted to welcome Rob and the Ironmonger Marquee team to the Arena Middle East and Asia Division and also to the Arena Group. Hong Kong is a very important marketplace for the Events Industry and strategically very important for the Arena Group to have a strong presence. Our focus is to grow our footprint in Northern Asia, as the region builds up to hosting the Olympic Games in 2020”

The Arena Group has over 100 years of experience and works in partnership with iconic events including the Ryder Cup, F1 Grand Prix, Wimbledon, Superbowl, the Olympics and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee to name just a few. Its experienced team provides bespoke solutions which maintain clients' brand consistency and quality of delivery the world over.

The Group has undergone an intense period of growth in recent years. In early 2012 – ahead of the London 2012 Olympic Games – Arena Group secured a £16.5m investment from MML Capital and Sports Investment Partners (SIP). The company invested in proprietary equipment including its revolutionary clearview™ seating system and state-of-the-art Arcus structure which was used across nine London Olympic venues.
